SeatMaker Pro · Last updated 8 August 2026
Short version: SeatMaker Pro does not collect, transmit or store any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no cloud sync. Everything you type stays in the app's own storage on your Mac.
SeatMaker Pro — Seating Charts & Random Picker is developed and published by MD Shahariar Nazim Joy (“we”). Contact: dmjks120@gmail.com.
None. We operate no servers, no analytics service and no advertising network. We do not have any technical means of receiving your data.
The information you enter — room layouts, class names, student names, seating notes, separation constraints, saved charts and the random-picker history — is written to a local database file inside SeatMaker Pro's sandboxed container on your Mac. It is never uploaded, never synced to iCloud or any other cloud service, and never shared with us or any third party.
Because student names may be personal information about children, this design is deliberate: the data never leaves the computer the teacher typed it on. If your school or district requires a data-processing agreement, none is needed, because no processing takes place off your device.
Open Settings → Your data → Delete everything to erase all rooms, classes, students and charts. Deleting the app from your Mac removes its container and everything in it. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
SeatMaker Pro requests no system permissions. It does not access the camera, microphone, contacts, photos, calendar, location, notifications or health data. The app is sandboxed; it can only write files where you explicitly choose to save a PDF, and can only reach the network to talk to Apple's App Store for purchases.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, email address, payment card or Apple Account details. The app asks Apple whether a valid purchase exists for the signed-in Apple Account, and Apple answers yes or no; nothing about you is sent to us. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.
SeatMaker Pro is a tool for teachers and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age. Student names entered by a teacher stay on the teacher's Mac and are never transmitted.
SeatMaker Pro does not track you. It contains no advertising identifiers, no cross-app tracking, no fingerprinting and no third-party software development kits of any kind.
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Material changes will also be described in the app's release notes.
