1. Who we are
Widget Maker: Icons & Themes ("the app") is developed and published by MD Shahariar Nazim Joy ("we", "us"). You can contact us at any time at dmjks120@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect no data at all. The app has no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporting service, no user accounts and no backend server. We do not know who you are, we cannot see what you make, and we have no way to contact you unless you email us first.
3. Data stored on your device
Everything the app creates is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad, inside the app's private container and a shared App Group container that lets the widget read your designs:
- The widget, icon and wallpaper designs you create, including their colours, fonts and layout.
- Any text you type: widget names, countdown event names, quotes, captions and custom text.
- Any photo you choose from your photo library and attach to a design.
- Your onboarding answers and app preferences.
This data never leaves your device. Deleting the app removes all of it permanently. We cannot restore it, because we never had a copy.
4. Photos
Choosing a photo. When you add a photo to a widget, icon or wallpaper, the app uses the system photo picker. This picker runs outside the app: it hands the app only the single image you select. The app cannot see, browse or read the rest of your photo library, and iOS does not require you to grant photo library access for this.
Saving a design. When you tap "Save to Photos", the app asks iOS for "Add Photos Only" permission so it can write the icon or wallpaper you just designed into your photo library. This permission only allows adding images. It does not allow the app to read, scan or upload any existing photo. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos.
5. Purchases
Widget Maker is a paid app and uses Apple's In-App Purchase system. Purchases, subscriptions, renewals, refunds and receipts are handled entirely by Apple. We never see or receive your name, email address, payment card or Apple Account details. The app only asks Apple whether an active purchase exists on the device, and Apple answers yes or no.
Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
6. Tracking
The app does not track you. It does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt, does not build user profiles, and does not share any information with data brokers, advertisers or any other third party.
7. Network access
The app works fully offline. The only network activity that can occur is Apple's own In-App Purchase and receipt validation traffic, and opening a link you tap (such as this privacy policy or the Terms of Use), which opens in your browser.
8. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, and contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no user-generated content shared with others.
9. Your rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf. You are in complete control: your data lives on your device, and deleting the app erases it. If you are in the EU/EEA, the UK, California or another region with data protection laws, this position satisfies our obligations under those laws, as no processing of personal data by us takes place.
10. Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
