Privacy Policy

Social Work Exam Prep ("the App") is built to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what information the App handles and how.

Summary

• No account or sign-in is required to use the App.
• The App does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind.
• All study data (your answers, progress, bookmarks, and settings) is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
• The App does not collect your name, contact details, or any personal profile information.

Information stored on your device

The App stores the following data locally, using Apple's standard on-device storage (Application Support directory and UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us:

• Your selected exam level (Bachelors, Masters, or Clinical) and exam date, if provided
• Your quiz and mock exam history, scores, and answer records
• Bookmarked questions and flashcard review schedule
• Your daily question goal and reminder time preference

You can permanently delete this data at any time using the "Reset Progress" option in Settings, or by deleting the App from your device.

Notifications

If you enable the optional daily study reminder, the App schedules a single local notification on your device using Apple's UserNotifications framework. This does not involve any server or third party — the reminder is scheduled and delivered entirely on-device.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information — Apple's own privacy practices govern that data. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

No analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs

The App does not integrate any analytics SDK, advertising network, or crash-reporting service that transmits data off your device. There are no third-party libraries in the App beyond Apple's own frameworks (SwiftUI, StoreKit, UserNotifications, Swift Charts).

Children's privacy

Social Work Exam Prep is designed for adult candidates preparing for a professional licensure exam and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date.
