Series 79 Prep: IB Exam

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 July 2026 · Applies to the iOS app Series 79 Prep: IB Exam (the “App”), published by MD Shahariar Nazim Joy (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”).

Summary

We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. The App has no user accounts, no login, no analytics SDK and no advertising SDK. Everything you do in the App is stored only on your own device and never leaves it, except for the purchase transaction that Apple processes on our behalf.

1. Information we collect

We collect no personal information. Specifically, the App does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, health data, financial account data, or usage analytics.

2. Information stored on your device

To make the App work, the following information is written to the App’s private storage area on your device:

This data never leaves your device. We cannot see it. Deleting the App removes it permanently. You can also erase it at any time from More › Data › Reset all progress inside the App.

3. Notifications

If you choose to enable the optional daily study reminder, the App schedules a local notification on your device using Apple’s UserNotifications framework. Local notifications are generated on the device; no push server is involved and no data is transmitted. You can revoke notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.

4. Purchases

The App offers auto-renewing subscriptions that are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Apple handles the entire payment flow. We never receive, see or store your payment card details, your Apple Account credentials or your billing address. The App only receives a signed transaction from Apple that tells it whether an active subscription exists, so that access can be unlocked. Apple’s handling of your data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

5. Third parties

The App contains no third-party analytics, attribution, crash-reporting or advertising software development kits. No data is shared with any third party. The only external party involved in the App is Apple, in its role as the App Store operator and payment processor.

6. Network access

The App is designed to work fully offline. The question bank is bundled inside the App. Network access is used only when iOS contacts the App Store to fetch subscription prices, complete a purchase or restore a purchase, and when you deliberately tap a link that opens a web page in your browser.

7. Children

The App is a professional qualification study aid intended for adults preparing for a securities industry examination. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

8. Data security

Because no personal data is transmitted or stored on any server we control, there is no server-side database that could be breached. Data stored on your device is protected by iOS application sandboxing and by the device encryption provided by your passcode or biometric lock.

9. Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, export or delete on your behalf. All data the App creates is under your direct control on your own device and can be erased at any time by resetting progress or deleting the App.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will also be described in the App’s release notes.

11. Contact

Questions about this policy or about privacy in the App can be sent to dmjks120@gmail.com. We aim to reply within three business days.

Disclaimer. Series 79 Prep: IB Exam is an independent, unofficial study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by FINRA, the SEC or any other regulator. Nothing in the App is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
