Terms of Use (EULA)

MarkScheme — Grade Boundary Designer

Last updated: 8 August 2026 · Effective: 8 August 2026

This is the End User License Agreement for MarkScheme — Grade Boundary Designer ("the app"), published by MD Shahariar Nazim Joy ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using the app you agree to these terms. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies and takes precedence in the event of a conflict.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not redistribute, rent, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

2. Purchase required

MarkScheme is a paid app with no free tier. A purchase — a subscription or the one-time lifetime unlock — is required to use its features. All purchases are made through Apple's In-App Purchase system; there is no other way to unlock the app, and no promotional codes, access codes or external payment methods are supported.

3. Subscriptions and prices

Auto-renewal terms

4. Restoring a purchase

Use Settings → Restore Purchases in the app, or Help → Restore Purchases in the menu bar, signed in with the Apple Account that made the original purchase.

5. Refunds

All sales are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.

6. Your content and your responsibility

You own everything you enter into the app. The app is a calculation and visualisation tool: the grade boundaries it displays are the boundaries you set. You are solely responsible for the marks you enter, for the boundaries you choose, for verifying the resulting grades, and for complying with the rules of your institution, awarding body or regulator.

The app does not contain, reproduce or claim to reproduce any awarding body's official grade boundaries. Templates supplied in the app are generic starting points only.

7. Privacy

The app collects no data. See the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for handling student information lawfully; we recommend using candidate numbers rather than names.

8. Disclaimer of warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits or any consequence of grades awarded using the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted.

10. Third-party beneficiary

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce it against you. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the app.

11. Termination

This licence remains in effect until terminated. It ends automatically if you breach these terms. You may terminate it at any time by deleting the app.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version always appears on this page with its effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and contact

Except where local mandatory consumer law provides otherwise, this agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: dmjks120@gmail.com.
