Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the iOS application GPA & Grade Tracker ("the App") handles information. The App is developed and operated by MD Shahariar Nazim Joy ("we", "us", "the developer").

The App is a fully offline application. It has no backend server, no user accounts, and no login. Everything you enter stays on your device. We have no ability to see, access, receive, or retrieve your data.

Information We Collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, sell, share, or store any personal data or usage data whatsoever. Specifically, the App does not collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
• Your school, courses, assignments, grades, or GPA
• Device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or IP addresses
• Location data
• Analytics, crash telemetry, usage statistics, or behavioural data
• Contacts, photos, calendars, microphone, or camera data

The App contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party trackers of any kind.

Data Stored On Your Device

The information you enter — such as semesters, courses, grading categories and their weights, assignments and scores, custom grading scales, and your app settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data:

• Never leaves your device by any mechanism we control
• Is not uploaded to us or to any third party
• Is not accessible to the developer

If you have enabled Apple's own device backup or iCloud backup features at the operating-system level, your device backup may include app data as part of that Apple service. That backup is governed by Apple's privacy policy and your own iCloud settings, not by us, and we have no access to it.

In-App Purchases

The App requires a subscription or a one-time purchase to use. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through Apple's StoreKit In-App Purchase framework. This is the only network activity the App performs: StoreKit communicates with the App Store to complete a purchase and to restore previous purchases.

• Apple handles the payment. We never receive, see, or store your payment card details, Apple Account credentials, or billing address.
• We receive only anonymous, aggregate sales and payout reporting from Apple (for example, total units sold in a country). This reporting does not identify individual users.
• Your purchase and entitlement status is validated through Apple's services and stored on your device.

Apple's handling of your purchase is subject to Apple's own privacy policy.

Notifications

The App can optionally schedule local reminders for assignment due dates using Apple's UserNotifications framework. These notifications are created and delivered entirely on your device. There is no push notification server, and no notification content or scheduling information is ever sent to us or to anyone else. Notifications are optional; you can decline the permission prompt or turn notifications off at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Third Parties

None. The App does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, analytics providers, advertising networks, or data brokers. We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your information to any third party, because we do not have any of your information. The only external party involved at all is Apple, in its role as the App Store operator processing your purchase.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 — and in fact we do not collect personal information from anyone, of any age. Because no data is collected from any user, there is no children's data for us to hold, review, or delete. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain no data, so there is nothing for us to delete. Your data lives only on your device:

• You can delete individual assignments, courses, or semesters from within the App at any time.
• Deleting the App from your device permanently deletes all data the App has stored on that device.
• We keep no copy and no backup of your data on any server, because no such server exists.

Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

Because we do not collect, process, or hold any personal data about you, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, export, or erase, and we do not and cannot sell or share personal information. In practice this means there is nothing for you to request from us. You remain in full control of your data, which is on your device. International Users

The App is available on the App Store in multiple countries. Because the App stores all data locally on your device and transmits no personal data to us or to anyone else, no international transfer of your personal data takes place through the App. The developer is based in Bangladesh. Any purchase you make is processed by Apple in accordance with Apple's own terms and privacy practices for your App Store storefront.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if the App's functionality changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and post the updated policy at this URL. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
