Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Fishing Log: Catch Tracker on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service and Apple’s Standard EULA linked above. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app.

2. Fishing Log is a paid app

Fishing Log has no free tier. A purchase is required to use the app. You may unlock it in one of three ways:

Prices shown above are for the United States storefront. In other countries the price is set by Apple in your local currency, and the exact amount is always shown to you inside the app before you confirm any purchase. All plans unlock exactly the same features.

3. Auto-renewable subscription terms

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same price and the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or via apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are already in.
• The 3-day free trial on the yearly plan is available to new subscribers only. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid yearly subscription at US$19.99 (or the local equivalent).
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. We cannot issue refunds directly. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Your content

Your catches, photos, notes, spots and coordinates belong to you. They are stored on your device, not on our servers — see our Privacy Policy. Because we never hold a copy, we cannot recover your log if you delete the app or lose your device. Use the CSV export (More › Export Catch Log to CSV) and iCloud device backup to keep your own copy.

6. Acceptable use and fishing law

Fishing Log is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not a licensing authority, a navigation system, or a source of legal advice. You are solely responsible for holding any required fishing licence and for complying with all size limits, bag limits, seasons, protected-species rules and access restrictions that apply where you fish. Always verify the current regulations with your local fisheries authority. Do not rely on this app for navigation or for safety at sea or on the water.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any statistic or pattern it shows you will predict future fishing results.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the app is limited to the amount you actually paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for lost data, lost catches, lost time, or any indirect or consequential loss.

9. Apple

Apple is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version always lives on this page, with the “last updated” date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
