These terms govern your use of the Driver CPC Prep iOS app.

Driver CPC Prep (“the app”) is a study aid for people preparing for the UK Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) initial qualification — the Module 2 case studies theory test and the Module 4 vehicle safety demonstration — to drive lorries (LGV/HGV) or buses and coaches (PCV). It provides original practice questions, explanations, timed mock tests, flashcards and progress tracking.
The app is not the official DVSA test and is not a training course. It does not book, administer or replace any Driver CPC test, and it is not a substitute for the official DVSA guidance, the GOV.UK service, or an approved Driver CPC training course.
The app is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), JAUPT, the Department for Transport, or any government agency or training body. All questions are original works written from GOV.UK and DVSA guidance published under the Open Government Licence.
We do not guarantee that you will pass any test or gain any qualification. Rules change. Always confirm the current requirements and book your tests through the official GOV.UK service before you drive professionally.
The app has no free tier. After a short onboarding, access to the question bank, case studies, mock tests, flashcards and progress tracking requires an active subscription or the one-time Lifetime purchase. All purchases are made through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. There is no other way to unlock the app.
Prices below are for the United States storefront and are shown in US dollars. In other countries, Apple charges the equivalent price for your storefront, which may differ.

Lifetime Access is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. “Lifetime” means for as long as the app remains available on the App Store and is supported by us; it is not a promise of perpetual service beyond that.
If you reinstall the app or use a new device signed in to the same Apple Account, tap Restore Purchases. It is available both on the purchase screen and, at any time afterwards, in Settings → Membership.
All purchases are made through Apple, and Apple — not us — handles all refunds. We cannot issue refunds directly. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something in the app is broken, please email us first at dmjks120@gmail.com and we will try to fix it.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own study. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish, scrape, or create derivative works from the question bank, explanations, case studies or reference content, and you may not use them to train a machine-learning model or to build a competing product. All questions and explanations are our original copyrighted works, written from GOV.UK and DVSA guidance published under the Open Government Licence.
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, not to attempt to bypass the paywall or Apple’s In-App Purchase system, and not to use the app for any unlawful purpose.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We strive for accuracy and write every question from current DVSA and GOV.UK guidance, but we do not warrant that the content is error-free, complete or current, and legal and regulatory requirements change.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, earnings, or opportunity, arising out of your use of the app — including any test result, qualification decision, or driving activity. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change, and continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the developer’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you additional rights, which are not affected.
