Standard End User License Agreement
Dive Log: Scuba Logbook is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (Licensed Application End User License Agreement), which applies in full to your use of this app:

By downloading, purchasing, subscribing to, or using Dive Log, you agree to Apple’s Standard EULA above and to the additional terms set out on this page.
1. The licence
Subject to your compliance with these terms, MD Shahariar Nazim Joy (the “Developer”) grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Dive Log on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the app, except as expressly permitted by Apple’s Standard EULA or by applicable law.
2. Purchase required — no free tier
Dive Log is a paid app. A purchase is required to use the app. After the onboarding flow, you must purchase one of the plans below in order to log, view, or edit dives.
3. Subscription terms
All prices are shown here in US dollars. In other countries the App Store charges the equivalent local price shown to you at the point of purchase.

What every plan unlocks
Unlimited dive log entries, the GPS dive-site map, the underwater photo gallery, certification storage, the gear list with service reminders, marine-life sightings, statistics and charts, and CSV export.
Free trial
The Yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial for users who are eligible for an introductory offer. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts into a paid yearly subscription at $19.99 per year. Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial.
Billing and renewal
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
- You can manage your subscription, change plan, or turn off auto-renew at any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or in the app under Settings → Manage Subscription.
- Cancelling stops future renewals. The current paid period continues until it expires; Apple does not provide partial refunds for an unused portion of a term unless required by law.
Restoring a purchase
If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, tap Restore Purchases on the paywall, or in the app under Settings → Restore Purchases, while signed in to the same Apple Account you used to buy.
4. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. The Developer cannot issue refunds directly. Refund requests are handled by Apple and can be submitted at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple’s policies and your local consumer-protection law.
5. Safety — important
Dive Log is a logbook only. It records dives you have already completed. It does not calculate no-decompression limits, ascent rates, gas planning, surface intervals, maximum operating depth, or any other dive-planning value. The dive profile shown on a dive entry is a simple visual summary reconstructed from the numbers you typed in, not a measured or calculated profile.
Dive Log is not a dive computer, a dive planner, a decompression algorithm, or a set of dive tables, and it is not a substitute for any of them. It is not a substitute for proper training, certification, briefing, supervision, or the equipment required for safe scuba diving.
Scuba diving is an activity that carries inherent risk of serious injury or death. You are solely responsible for planning and conducting your dives safely, within the limits of your certification, using a functioning dive computer or tables, and following the guidance of a certified instructor or dive centre. Never rely on Dive Log to make any decision affecting your safety underwater.
6. Your content
Everything you enter into Dive Log stays on your device and belongs to you. The Developer does not access, receive, host, or claim any right in your dives, photos, certifications, notes or any other content. See the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for keeping your own backups. Deleting the app deletes its data permanently. Use Settings → Export Logbook (CSV) to keep a copy.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dive Log is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. The Developer does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use Dive Log. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited.
9. Third-party beneficiary
Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms of Use, and upon your acceptance of these terms Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to Dive Log.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with a “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing law & contact
Except where prohibited by your local law, these terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer right you have under the law of your country of residence.
