Common questions

Is there a free version?

No. Cloud+ Prep: CV0-004 is a paid app with no free tier and no free trial. A subscription or the one-time Lifetime purchase is required to open the question bank.

I paid but the app still shows the purchase screen

Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account you purchased with, then tap Restore Purchases. It is available on the purchase screen and in Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases, both before and after buying. If it still does not unlock, check your network connection and try again, then email us.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel there. You can also tap Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription inside the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. All 2,184 questions, 57 performance-based tasks, 364 flashcards and every explanation are bundled in the app. Only the purchase itself and the external reference links need a connection.

Is my score estimate the same as a real CompTIA score?

No. It is our own estimate built from the publicly published 100–900 scale and the 750 passing score. Use it to see whether you are trending above or below the pass mark, not as a prediction of your actual result.

How are performance-based tasks scored?

With partial credit. A sequencing task scores the proportion of steps you placed in the right position; matching and configuration tasks score the proportion of correct rows; multi-select tasks award credit for correct selections and deduct for incorrect ones, with a floor of zero.

How do I reset my progress?

Settings → Data → Reset all progress. This clears every answer, bookmark, streak and saved result on the device and cannot be undone.

Is my data private?

Yes. Nothing is collected. There is no account, no analytics SDK and no advertising SDK. See the Privacy Policy.

Does the app support VoiceOver and Dynamic Type?

Yes, throughout, in both light and dark appearance, on iPhone and iPad.
