Which provinces and territories are covered?
All thirteen: Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Choose yours on first launch or change it any time in Settings › Province or Territory.
Does switching province lose my progress?
No. Your progress is kept for every jurisdiction, so you can switch back and forth freely.
Is there a free version?
No. Canadian Driving Test Prep is a paid app with no free tier and no free sample. A subscription or the one-time Lifetime Access purchase unlocks everything.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple Account, then tap Restore Purchases. It appears on the purchase screen and, after you have bought, in Settings › Subscription › Restore Purchases.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel there. You can also tap Manage Subscription inside Canadian Driving Test Prep under Settings › Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Are these the real test questions?
No, and deliberately so. Every question is original material written for this app from the publicly published provincial and territorial driver's handbooks. Reproducing an official question bank would be both unlawful and a poor way to learn. Every explanation names the handbook it was written from and links to it.
Are the road signs the official artwork?
No. Every sign is drawn from scratch inside the app as original vector artwork following the publicly documented Canadian shape and colour conventions. That is why they stay sharp at any size and adapt to dark mode. The exact wording and proportions of a real sign vary by jurisdiction — always check your own handbook.
Does the app work offline?
Yes, completely. The only time it needs a network connection is to load App Store prices, to validate a purchase, and when you tap an external link.
Does the app collect my data?
No. There is no account, no analytics and no advertising. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I reset my progress?
Settings › Study Data › Reset Progress, or the Reset Progress button at the bottom of the Progress tab.
Can I turn off the daily reminder?
Yes — Settings › Study Reminder. It is off unless you switch it on.
