Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy is from
Canadian Air Brake Prep (“the app”) is published by MD Shahariar Nazim Joy (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at dmjks120@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
None. We do not collect, receive or store any personal information about you. Specifically:
- We do not ask you to create an account, sign in, or give us your name, email address or phone number.
- We do not collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP addresses or location data.
- We do not use analytics, attribution, crash-reporting or advertising software development kits of any kind.
- We do not use cookies or any similar tracking technology inside the app.
- We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
The App Store privacy label for this app is declared as Data Not Collected.
3. Information stored on your device
The app stores your study data locally so it can show your progress. This never leaves your device and we never see it. It includes:
- Which questions you have answered and whether each answer was correct.
- Your spaced-repetition schedule, bookmarks, streaks and topic mastery.
- Mock-test, fault-scenario, inspection-sequence and spec-drill results.
- Your selected province or territory, your target test date, your daily goal and your reminder setting.
Deleting the app removes all of it. You can also erase it at any time from Settings › Study Data › Reset Progress inside the app.
4. Purchases
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see, receive or store your payment details. The app asks Apple whether a valid purchase exists for the signed-in Apple Account and unlocks accordingly. Apple’s handling of your purchase data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
5. Notifications
If — and only if — you switch on the optional daily study reminder, the app asks iOS for permission to send you a local notification at the time you choose. The reminder is generated on your device by iOS. No notification data is sent to us or to anyone else. You can turn the reminder off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.
6. Network use
The app is designed to work fully offline. It makes no network requests to any server operated by us, because we operate no server. The only outbound connections are the ones you start yourself: tapping a citation link, a legal link or the support email opens Safari or Mail, and from that point Apple’s and the destination site’s own policies apply. StoreKit also communicates with Apple to validate purchases.
7. Children
The app is a study aid for adults preparing for a commercial driver endorsement. It is not directed at children, contains no user-generated content, no chat, no social features and no advertising. Because we collect nothing, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect information from children.
8. Your rights
Data-protection laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, PIPEDA and the CCPA give you rights over personal information a company holds about you — access, correction, deletion, portability and objection. We hold no personal information about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, delete or export. Your on-device study data is entirely under your control and is removed when you delete the app or reset your progress. We do not sell or share personal information, because we have none.
9. Security
Because no data leaves your device, there is no server, database or backup of yours for us to secure or to be breached. Your study data is protected by the standard security of your iOS device and, if you use it, by your own iCloud device backup, which is governed by Apple.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new “last updated” date. Material changes will also be described in the app’s release notes.
