Your privacy matters. This policy explains how Symptom Tracker: Health (the “App”) handles your information. The short version: we do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal or health data. Everything you log stays on your device.
The App does not require an account, login, name, email address, or phone number to work. We do not operate any server that stores your data. Specifically, we do not collect:
All information you enter (symptoms, entries, factors, reminders, and any PDF reports you generate) is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage. It is never uploaded to us or to any third party. If you delete the App, this data is removed with it. If you use iCloud device backups, your data may be included in your own encrypted Apple backup, which is controlled entirely by you through your Apple settings.
In-app purchases and subscriptions (Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime) are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see or receive your credit card number or payment details. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy. The App only receives an anonymous confirmation from Apple that a purchase is active, which it uses to unlock features on your device.
If you choose to enable daily reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. No notification content is sent through any server. You can turn reminders off at any time in the App or in the iOS Settings app.
The App contains no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking. We do not use the App Tracking Transparency framework because we do not track you across apps or websites.
The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Symptom Tracker: Health is a personal wellness journal and is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any correlations or trends it shows are simple statistical associations based on the data you enter and do not establish causation. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health.
Because your data lives only on your device, you are always in control. You can edit or delete individual entries at any time, or erase everything at once using Settings › Clear all data inside the App.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
