The short version. Shift & Pay Tracker does not collect your personal data. There is no account to create, no server to sign in to, and no analytics or advertising SDK in the app. Every shift, job, pay rate, tip, mile and note you enter stays on your own device.
Shift & Pay Tracker: Hours ("the app") is developed and published by MD Shahariar Nazim Joy ("we", "us"). You can reach us any time at dmjks120@gmail.com.
The app is a personal record-keeping tool. Everything it records is written to a private database inside the app's own container on your iPhone or iPad, using Apple's SwiftData framework. That includes:
This information is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We operate no server that receives it, and the app contains no code that uploads it.
| Category | Collected? |
|---|---|
| Contact information (name, email, phone) | No |
| Identifiers (user ID, device ID, advertising ID) | No |
| Usage data and analytics | No |
| Diagnostics and crash logs | No |
| Location | No — see below |
| Financial information | No |
The app contains no third-party analytics, no advertising networks, and no tracking of any kind. We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and we do not sell or share any information, because we do not have any to sell or share.
The app has one optional feature that uses location: arrival reminders. If — and only if — you switch it on for a job, the app asks iOS for permission to use your location, and then asks iOS to tell it when you arrive at or leave the workplace you saved.
If you enable arrival reminders, the app may ask permission to send you local notifications — for example, "Looks like you're at work." These are generated on your device by the app itself. No push notification server is involved and no push token is ever registered or transmitted.
Shift & Pay Tracker is a paid app, unlocked with an In-App Purchase. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using Apple's StoreKit framework. We never see, receive or store your name, your payment card, or your Apple Account details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
The app can export your shifts as a CSV file. When you tap Export, iOS shows you its own share sheet and you decide where the file goes — Files, Mail, or another app. Nothing is exported automatically, and the file never passes through us.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age.
Because all data lives on your device, you are always in control of it. You can delete individual shifts and jobs inside the app, use Settings › Delete All Data to erase everything at once, or delete the app from your device — which removes its entire database with it.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights over personal data a company holds about you — the right to access it, correct it, delete it, and to know whether it is sold. We hold no personal data about you at all, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, delete, or sell. If you would like to raise a question about this, write to dmjks120@gmail.com and we will answer.
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will also be described in the app's release notes.
