Summary: Series 24 Prep: Principal Exam does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. There is no account to create, no analytics software development kit, no advertising software development kit and no third-party tracking. All study data stays on your device.
1. Who we are
Series 24 Prep: Principal Exam ("the app") is published by MD Shahariar Nazim Joy ("we", "us"). You can reach us at dmjks120@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect no personal information. The app has no sign-up, no login, no contact form and no server component. Specifically, the app does not collect or transmit:
- Name, email address, phone number or postal address
- Contacts, photos, camera data, microphone data, health data or location
- Device identifiers used for advertising or tracking
- Usage analytics, crash analytics or behavioural data
The app requests no access to the camera, microphone, contacts, photo library, location or health data, and contains no code that would use them.
3. Information stored on your device
To provide study features, the app stores the following locally, inside the app's own sandboxed storage on your device:
- Your answers, scores and session history
- Bookmarked and missed questions, and spaced-repetition scheduling data
- Your onboarding preferences: exam date, target score, daily goal, focus areas and reminder time
- App settings such as appearance and text size
This data never leaves your device unless you personally enable Apple's iCloud device backup, in which case it is included in your encrypted device backup under Apple's terms. Deleting the app deletes this data. You can also erase it at any time using Settings → Reset progress inside the app.
4. Notifications
If you enable the optional daily study reminder, the notification is scheduled locally by iOS on your device. No push server is involved and no notification data is sent anywhere. You can turn reminders off at any time in the app's Settings screen or in the iOS Settings app.
5. Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see or receive your payment card details, billing address or Apple Account credentials. The app only receives from Apple a signed indication of whether a valid purchase exists, which it uses to unlock the study features. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
6. Third parties
The app includes no third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, social media or crash-reporting frameworks. No data is shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party. Links to external websites (such as FINRA's official exam page or the App Store subscription management page) open in your browser or in the App Store, at which point the privacy policy of that destination applies.
7. Children
The app is a professional securities-licensing study aid intended for adults preparing for a FINRA qualification examination. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
8. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you on any server, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf. You retain full control of the on-device data as described in section 3. If you have a question about your rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA or any comparable law, contact us and we will respond.
9. Security
App data is stored inside the iOS application sandbox and is protected by the device's own encryption and passcode protections. Because no data is transmitted, there is no transmission to intercept.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's release notes.
