1. Who we are
OSHA 10 & 30 Test Prep (the "App") is published by MD Shahariar Nazim Joy (the "Developer", "we", "us"). You can reach us at dmjks120@gmail.com. This policy explains what the App does and does not do with information.
2. Data we collect
We collect none. Specifically, the App does not collect any of the following:
- Name, email address, phone number, or postal address
- Contacts, photos, camera, microphone, location, or health data
- Device identifiers, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or fingerprinting signals
- Usage analytics, crash telemetry, or behavioural profiles
- Payment card details (see "Purchases" below)
The App requests no permissions other than an optional local notification permission, which you may decline. If you decline, every other feature continues to work.
3. Data stored on your device
To make the App work, it saves the following locally on your device only. This data is never uploaded, and it is not visible to us or to anyone else:
| What | Why | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Your selected track and course depth (Construction/General Industry, 10-hour/30-hour) | To show you the right topic list | Your device |
| Your answers to practice questions | To score you and show which questions you missed | Your device |
| Mock results and scores | To show your trend and readiness | Your device |
| Bookmarks and flashcard scheduling | To power review and spaced repetition | Your device |
| Your target date, goal, and daily target | To build your study plan and countdown | Your device |
| Your study streak | To keep you consistent | Your device |
You can erase all of it at any time: Settings → Reset all progress. Deleting the App also deletes it.
4. Notifications
If you turn on the daily reminder, the App schedules a local notification using Apple's on-device notification system. No push server is involved, and no notification content leaves your device. You can turn reminders off in the App at any time, or revoke the permission in the iOS Settings app.
5. Purchases
OSHA 10 & 30 Test Prep requires a purchase to use. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using Apple's In-App Purchase system. We never see, receive, or store your payment card details, your Apple Account credentials, or your billing address. Apple's handling of that information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
The App asks Apple's StoreKit framework whether your Apple Account currently holds a valid purchase. That check is made by the operating system against Apple's servers; the App itself receives only a yes-or-no answer and never a personal identifier.
6. Third parties
The App contains no third-party SDKs of any kind — no analytics, no advertising, no attribution, no crash reporting, no social logins. We do not share data with third parties, because we do not have any data to share.
7. Links to other sites
The App links to official public sources (for example, osha.gov Outreach Training Program pages and the Code of Federal Regulations) so you can verify course information for yourself, and to Apple's Terms of Use. Those sites are operated by others and have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or their policies.
8. Children
The App is intended for adults and working-age learners preparing for OSHA Outreach coursework. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — because it does not collect information at all.
9. Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California) give you rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to object to its sale. Because the App does not collect or process any personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, port, or sell. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. All data the App produces already sits on your own device and is under your direct control.
10. Security
Your study data is stored in the App's private container on your device, protected by iOS's built-in app sandboxing and by device encryption when you have a passcode set.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will also be noted in the App's release notes.
