Privacy Policy
Effective 24 July 2026. Applies to the iOS application MCAT Prep 2026: Full Test published by MD Shahariar Nazim Joy.
Summary
We do not collect any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics software development kit, no advertising software development kit and no third-party trackers. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
1. Data we collect
None. We do not collect, receive, transmit, sell, rent or share any personal data, usage data, device identifiers, contact information, location data, health data or diagnostics. The developer has no server that receives data from this app.
2. Data stored on your device
To make the app work, the following information is created and stored only in the app's private container on your device:
- Your answers, scores, completed sessions and estimated scaled scores.
- Bookmarked and flagged questions, spaced-repetition schedules and flashcard levels.
- Your onboarding answers: target score, test date, study stage, focus sections and daily goal.
- App settings such as appearance, haptics and reminder time.
This information is never uploaded. Deleting the app removes it permanently. You can also erase it at any time using Settings → Data → Reset all progress inside the app.
3. Purchases
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see or receive your payment details, your Apple Account identifier, your name or your email address. The app only asks Apple whether a valid purchase exists for the device's Apple Account in order to unlock content. Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
4. Notifications
If you choose to turn on the optional daily study reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device at the time you select. Local notifications never leave your device and no notification service or push server is involved. You can turn the reminder off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.
5. Permissions
The app requests no access to your camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, location, calendar, health data, motion data or files. The only optional permission is notifications, and it is requested only if you enable the daily reminder.
6. Network use
The question bank, passages, explanations and flashcards are bundled inside the app and work fully offline. The app connects to the network only for Apple's own App Store purchase and restore flows, and when you deliberately tap a link that opens a web page in your browser.
7. Children
The app is intended for students preparing for a graduate-level admissions test and is rated 4+ because it contains no objectionable content. It is not directed to children under 13, and because no data at all is collected, no personal information from children is ever gathered.
8. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf. All data lives on your device and is fully under your control. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Brazil, or a jurisdiction such as California with comparable privacy legislation, the rights those laws give you are satisfied by this arrangement: there is no controller-held personal data, no profiling, no automated decision-making and no sale or sharing of personal information.
9. Data retention
We retain nothing because we receive nothing. Data on your device is retained until you reset progress or delete the app.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
