Summary
Cessio does not collect, sell or share any personal data. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The developer never receives anything you enter in the app.
Data you enter and where it is stored
Habits, urge and slip logs, pledges, journal entries, reasons, savings goals and photos you add are stored only on your device. Cessio's widgets and Apple Watch app read a small copy from a storage container shared only with Cessio's own extensions; the watch copy travels directly between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch.
Crisis-word detection in the journal runs entirely on your device. Nothing you write is sent anywhere.
Apple Health
Only if you turn it on in Settings, Cessio writes your finished SOS breathing sessions to the Health app as Mindful Minutes, and reads your sleep to show how rest relates to your urges. Health data is used only to provide these features to you. It is never sent to the developer or any third party, never used for advertising, marketing or data mining, and never stored in iCloud by Cessio. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app or in iOS Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices.
Face ID, Touch ID and photos
The optional app lock uses Apple's device authentication. Cessio never sees or stores biometric data.
Photos are chosen with Apple's photo picker. Cessio receives only the photo you pick and copies it into its private storage on your device. It has no access to the rest of your library.
Notifications
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They never name a sensitive habit and are never used for advertising or marketing. You can turn them off in Cessio's Settings or in iOS Settings.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. Cessio only learns whether Cessio Pro is active; it never receives your payment details.
Third parties
Cessio contains no third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising or tracking code, and shares no data with third parties. Links to sources, helplines and these pages open in your browser and are subject to those websites' own policies.
Children
Cessio is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.
Retention, deletion and your choices
Your data stays on your device for as long as you keep it. You can export it or delete all of it at any time in Settings › Your data, and deleting the app removes its data from the device. Because nothing is sent to the developer, there is no copy on any server to retain, correct or delete. You can withdraw any permission (Health, notifications, Face ID) at any time in iOS Settings.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page and in the app before it applies.
