The short version. Bucket List does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers. Everything you put into the app — your goals, steps, notes, photos, target dates and reflections — is stored only on your own device.
None. We operate no servers and we have no database of users. The developer cannot see your goals, your photos or anything else you enter, because that information never leaves your device.
Specifically, the app does not collect:
The following is saved locally, in the app's private storage container, and is never uploaded:
| What | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Goals, categories, steps, notes, target dates | So your bucket list exists | On your device only |
| Photos you attach to a goal | To illustrate the goal and the moment you finished it | On your device only |
| Completion dates and reflections | To build your achievements wall | On your device only |
| App preferences (reminder time, chosen categories) | To remember your settings | On your device only |
If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. There is no cloud copy for us to hold, and no account for you to close.
When you add a photo to a goal, the app uses Apple's system photo picker. That picker runs outside the app and hands back only the single image you tapped. Bucket List never receives access to your photo library and cannot browse, read or upload any other picture. The image you choose is copied into the app's own private storage and stays there.
If — and only if — you switch on a reminder for a goal that has a target date, iOS will ask your permission to send notifications. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. No reminder content is sent to us or to anyone else. You can turn notifications off at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Bucket List is a paid app and requires a purchase to use. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using Apple's In-App Purchase system. We never see, receive or store your payment details, card number or billing address. Apple's handling of that information is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
The app asks Apple whether the current Apple Account holds a valid purchase, and Apple answers yes or no. That check happens on your device.
Bucket List includes no third-party SDKs, no advertising networks, no analytics providers and no social logins. The only external party involved in the app at all is Apple, and only for the purchase and notification systems described above.
Bucket List is not directed at children under 13, and because the app collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.
Regulations such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none. Your data is entirely in your own hands: you can view and edit any goal inside the app, and you can erase everything by deleting the app from your device.
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Because the app collects nothing, we do not expect the substance to change.
