This Privacy Policy describes how MD Shahariar Nazim Joy (“we”, “us”) handles information in the iOS app Swimming Teacher Prep UK (the “App”).
1. Summary
The App is designed to be privacy-first and offline-first. We do not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or social tracking SDKs. Study progress is stored on your device.
2. Information stored on your device
The App may store locally on your iPhone or iPad:
- Onboarding choices (level, goals, assessment date, daily goal)
- Practice answers, scores, bookmarks, incorrect items, streaks and mock results
- Reminder preference and time (if you enable study reminders)
- Subscription entitlement state managed by Apple
This data stays on your device unless you back up your device with Apple services (for example iCloud Backup), which is controlled by your Apple Account settings.
3. Purchases
Subscriptions and lifetime unlocks are processed by Apple through the App Store / StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to payment processing.
4. Notifications
If you enable daily study reminders, the App uses Apple’s local notification system on your device. We do not send marketing push campaigns from our own servers.
5. No account required
The App does not require you to create a username/password account with us. There is no developer-operated cloud profile for your quiz history.
6. Data we do not collect
We do not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone audio, or advertising identifiers for tracking. The App does not use the camera or microphone.
7. Children
The App is a study aid aimed at adults preparing for swimming teaching qualifications. It is not directed at children under 13. Do not submit personal information of children to us by email beyond what is needed for support.
8. Support email
If you email us for support at dmjks120@gmail.com, we will receive your email address and message content to respond. We retain support emails only as long as needed to help you and meet legal obligations.
9. Third-party links
The App may link to Apple subscription management or our own policy pages. External sites have their own privacy practices.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
