iPhone & iPad · 100% on-device

Every sober day,
counted.

Count every sober day. See every dollar and every health win.

Sober is a sobriety counter for iPhone and iPad that turns time into evidence: a live clock running since your quit date, the money you have saved, the calories you have avoided, and the health milestones your body is passing. All of it stays on your device.

What Sober does

Nine ways to make progress you can actually see, on the one device you always have with you.

Live sobriety clock

A precise, always-current counter of the days, hours, minutes, and seconds since your quit date. Open the app and see exactly how far you have come, down to the second.

Money saved

Enter what you used to spend and Sober continuously calculates the money you have kept, in US dollars, from your quit date to this very moment.

Calories avoided

Alcohol carries a lot of empty calories. Sober estimates the calories you have not consumed since you quit, so that a quiet win becomes a visible one.

Health recovery timeline

Follow a timeline of what typically improves after you stop drinking, compiled from public health sources including the NIAAA, CDC, NHS, and WHO. General education, not medical advice.

Milestone badges

Earn a badge at every meaningful marker, from your first 24 hours to a week, a month, 100 days, a year, and beyond. Small, durable proof that the streak is real.

Private journal

Write down cravings, triggers, and wins. Your entries stay on your device and nowhere else. No account, no cloud, and no one reading over your shoulder.

Home & Lock Screen widgets

Put your counter where you will actually see it. Sober includes home screen and Lock Screen widgets, so your progress is one glance away.

Multiple counters

Track more than one thing at a time. Run separate counters side by side and keep each streak, each saving, and each milestone in its own lane.

Daily motivation

Optional daily notifications deliver a small, well-timed reminder of why you started. They are scheduled locally on your device, so no push server ever sees you.

100% private. 100% offline.

Sober is built so that there is nothing to leak. Your quit dates, journal entries, and milestones are stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. The developer operates no servers and receives no data from the app.

  • No account or login. Open the app and start.
  • No servers. The developer operates none.
  • No analytics SDK. Nothing is measured.
  • No advertising SDK. Nothing is targeted.
  • No third-party trackers. None at all.
  • No data collected, shared, or sold.
  • Local notifications only. No push server.
  • Delete anytime. Delete a counter or the app.

The only network interaction is with Apple’s App Store and StoreKit, in order to process a purchase or restore one you have already made. Apple processes the payment; the developer never sees your payment details. Read the full Privacy Policy. The app’s Apple App Privacy summary is Data Not Collected.
