OAT Prep: Optometry Admission · Last updated 24 July 2026

This app is licensed, not sold, under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). That agreement governs your use of the app. The terms below add app-specific detail and do not replace it. Where the two conflict, Apple's Standard EULA prevails.

1. Purchase is required

This is a paid app with a hard paywall. There is no free tier and no free trial. Access to the question bank, mock tests, flashcards, progress tracking and every other study feature requires an active subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase.

4. Restoring a purchase

If you reinstall the app or use a new device signed in to the same Apple Account, tap Restore Purchases. This control is available on the purchase screen before you buy and in Settings at any time after you buy.

5. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. We cannot issue refunds directly. Refund requests are made to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com and are decided under Apple's policies.

6. What the app is, and is not

This app is an independent, unofficial study aid. It is not affiliated with, authorised, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry, the American Dental Association, the American Optometric Association, or any school or college of optometry. OAT® and Optometry Admission Test® are the marks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe what the app helps you prepare for.

Every passage, question, answer key and explanation was written originally for this app. Nothing is reproduced from any official practice material or from any other preparation product.

7. No guarantee of results

Standard score estimates are produced by our own model built from the publicly published 200–400 scale, its reference mean of 300 and its standard deviation of 40. They are indicative practice feedback only. They are not official scores, they are not an official conversion, and they do not predict or guarantee your result on any actual examination. We make no representation that using this app will produce any particular score or admission outcome.

8. Not professional advice

The science content in this app is educational material prepared for exam preparation only. It is not medical, optometric or clinical advice, and it must not be used to make any clinical or personal health decision. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional.

9. Acceptable use

You may use the app for your own personal study. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publish or create derivative works from the questions, passages or explanations, or use them to build a competing product.

10. Availability and changes

We may update the app, add or remove content, and change prices for future purchases. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for, and Apple will notify you before any subscription price increase takes effect.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from its use, including any examination outcome. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
