1. Agreement
By downloading or using CompTIA PenTest Prep PT0-003 ("the app") you agree to these terms and to the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA), which governs your licence to use the app. Where the two differ, the Apple Standard EULA prevails.
2. Licence
You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publish or create derivative works from the app's questions, rationales, flashcards or other content.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
The app requires a purchase to use. There is no free tier.
- PenTest Prep Monthly — auto-renewable subscription, 1 month, $9.99 USD per month.
- PenTest Prep Yearly — auto-renewable subscription, 1 year, $29.99 USD per year.
- PenTest Prep Lifetime Access — one-time purchase, $49.99 USD, does not renew.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if one is offered, is forfeited when a subscription is purchased. Prices shown are United States Dollar reference prices; the App Store charges in your local currency.
4. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service; we cannot issue refunds directly. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
5. Educational purpose and lawful use
The app is independent exam-preparation material. Its content is conceptual: methodology, terminology, tool purpose, scoping and authorisation, risk rating, reporting and remediation. It contains no exploit code, no payloads and no step-by-step attack instructions.
You agree to use the app only for lawful study. Penetration testing, scanning or any other security testing of systems you do not own, without explicit written authorisation from the system owner, is a criminal offence in most jurisdictions. Nothing in the app authorises you to test any system. You are solely responsible for your own conduct.
6. No guarantee of exam outcome
The app does not guarantee that you will pass any examination. Readiness percentages, benchmarks and analytics reflect your performance inside this app only. CompTIA does not publish the mapping from raw answers to its 100–900 scaled score, so the app does not and cannot predict a scaled score.
7. Accuracy of content
Content is written from public standards and published exam objectives and is reviewed for accuracy, but standards, tools and exam objectives change. Always confirm current exam details on the official CompTIA website and current technical guidance against the primary source. Content is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
8. Not affiliated with CompTIA
CompTIA PenTest Prep PT0-003 is an independent, unofficial study aid and is not affiliated with, authorized, endorsed by or sponsored by CompTIA. CompTIA®, PenTest+® and all related marks are the property of CompTIA. The app does not administer the examination and does not reproduce any official examination item.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including examination results, career outcomes or any consequence of applying the app's educational content.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated; the current version is always published at this address with a "last updated" date.
