1. Who we are
CompTIA PenTest Prep PT0-003 ("the app") is published by MD Shahariar Nazim Joy ("we", "us"). You can reach us at dmjks120@gmail.com. This policy explains how the app handles information.
2. Data we collect
None. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no tracking technology and no third-party network calls. We do not collect names, email addresses, device identifiers, contacts, location, photos or usage analytics. The app has no account and no sign-in.

3. Data stored on your device
The app saves the following locally on your device only, so it can show your progress:
- Which questions you have answered and whether each answer was correct
- Bookmarks, spaced-repetition scheduling and study-streak dates
- Timed exam results and per-objective scores
- Your onboarding answers: goal, experience level, target exam date, focus objectives, daily question goal and reminder preference
This information never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. You can erase all of it at any time from Settings → Reset Progress or Progress → Reset Progress inside the app, or by deleting the app.
4. Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple using StoreKit. We never see or receive your payment details. Apple provides the app with a signed receipt confirming whether a purchase is active so the app can unlock content; that verification happens on your device and through Apple's servers. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
5. Notifications
If you switch on the optional daily study reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device using iOS. No notification data is sent to any server, and no push token is created or shared. You can turn reminders off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.
6. Children
The app is intended for adults preparing for a professional IT certification examination. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
7. Your rights
Because we do not collect or hold any personal data about you, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf. All data the app creates is under your direct control on your device. If you have a question about this, contact us at dmjks120@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Educational content and lawful use
The app contains conceptual educational content for examination preparation only: methodology, terminology, tool purpose, scoping and authorisation, risk rating, reporting and remediation. It deliberately contains no exploit code, no payloads and no step-by-step attack instructions. Penetration testing without explicit written authorisation from the system owner is unlawful in most jurisdictions. You agree to use the app only for lawful study.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will also be described in the app's release notes.
