Standard Apple licence
Canada English Test Prep is licensed to you under Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement, the Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. The terms on this page describe how the app works and supplement that agreement; where the two conflict, Apple's agreement governs.
1. A purchase is required
This app has no free tier and no free sample content. Access to the practice material requires an active subscription or the one-time lifetime purchase.

- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, where one is offered, is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
- Prices are stated in US dollars. The App Store charges in your local currency and the local price may differ.
- Every plan unlocks the same full app; there is no difference in content between them.
3. Refunds
All purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests are made to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue refunds ourselves.
4. Restoring a purchase
If you change device or reinstall the app, tap Restore Purchases. It is on the purchase screen and also in Settings → Subscription, so it remains reachable after you have bought. Restoring requires the same Apple Account that made the original purchase.
5. What the content is, and is not
Every listening script, reading passage, writing prompt, speaking task, model answer and vocabulary entry in this app is original material written for exam revision. Names, businesses, programmes, statistics and places in the material are invented for practice and do not describe real organisations or real events.
The estimated Canadian Language Benchmark bands shown in the app are study feedback calculated from your accuracy inside this app. They are not an official score, they are not produced by any testing organisation, and they do not predict an official result. Do not rely on them for an immigration, citizenship, employment or admission decision.
6. Not affiliated
Canada English Test Prep is an independent, unofficial study aid. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Paragon Testing Enterprises, the University of British Columbia, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, or the Centre for Canadian Language Benchmarks. CELPIP® is a registered trademark of Paragon Testing Enterprises; all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are referred to only to describe the examination this material helps you prepare for. This app does not administer any language test and does not reproduce any official test item, script, passage or artwork.
7. Acceptable use
The content is licensed for your personal study. You may not copy, redistribute, republish, resell, scrape or use it to build another product or dataset.
8. No warranty and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that using it will produce any particular test result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.

These terms may be updated. The current version is always on this page with the date at the top.
