We do not collect your data. None of it. Ever.
Allergy & Food Intolerance Log stores everything you log — meals, foods, symptoms, reactions, and elimination plans — only on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, no server, no cloud, no analytics, and no advertising.
What we collect
Nothing. The app does not transmit your health information, food log, or any personal data off your device. We have no servers to send it to.
Data stored on your device
The following stays in the app's private storage on your iPhone or iPad, and is visible only to you:
- Meals, foods, and barcodes you enter
- Symptoms, severity, and reaction times you log
- Elimination plans and reintroduction results
- App settings, such as reminder times
Deleting the app removes this data permanently. You can also erase everything at any time from Settings → Erase all data inside the app.
Camera
The app requests camera access only when you choose to scan a food barcode. The camera feed is processed on-device to read the barcode and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. You can decline camera access and still use every other feature.
Notifications
If you turn on reminders, notifications are scheduled locally by iOS on your device. No push server is involved and no data leaves your device.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.
Third parties
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or attribution SDKs. Your data is not sold, shared, or disclosed to anyone, because we never receive it in the first place.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
Medical disclaimer
This app is a logging and organization tool. It shows statistical associations from your own log. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it cannot detect or predict a food allergy. Severe food allergies are a medical emergency — follow your doctor's guidance and carry any prescribed medication. Always talk to a doctor or dietitian before making significant dietary changes.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
