Frequently asked questions

How does the app work?

Your child sees a picture and a word. They tap the picture to “clap” each syllable, then drag or tap the word into the box for the correct number of syllables (1–4). Stars reward each correct answer.

Is it a subscription?

No. Syllables for Kids is free to download and offers a single one-time purchase, “Unlock Everything”, that unlocks all lessons forever. There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews.

I bought it on another device. How do I unlock it here?

Open the app, pass the grown-up gate, and tap Restore Purchases on the unlock screen or in the Grown-Ups settings. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple Account used for the purchase.

Does it need the internet?

No. After downloading, everything works fully offline.

Do you collect any data?

No. The app collects no personal data at all. See our Privacy Policy.

How do I turn sounds off?

Open the Grown-Ups settings (gear icon) and toggle “Sound effects & voice”.
