This Privacy Policy describes how the iOS app Rail Track Safety Prep (PTS) (“the App”) handles information. We designed the App to be privacy-first and offline-first.

1. Who we are

2. Data we collect

The App does not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks.

• On-device study progress — answers, bookmarks, streaks, mock results, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple’s standard storage (e.g. UserDefaults / local files). This data stays on your device unless you back up the device with Apple services you control.
• Optional notifications — if you enable a daily study reminder, the App schedules a local notification. We do not receive the content of those notifications on our servers.
• Purchases — subscriptions and lifetime unlocks are processed by Apple through StoreKit / App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may provide purchase entitlements to the App so we can unlock content.

3. Data we do not collect

• We do not require an account or password inside the App.
• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not run third-party ads in the App.
• We do not collect precise location for marketing.

4. How we use information

Local study data is used only to power features you see: practice history, readiness scores, spaced repetition, and reminders. Purchase status is used only to unlock the App after a valid In‑App Purchase or restore.

5. Sharing

We do not share your study data with third parties. Apple processes payments under Apple’s privacy policy. If required by law, we may disclose information only to the extent legally necessary.

6. Children

The App is a professional exam-prep tool and is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the App if you are under the age where you can consent to App Store terms in your region.

7. Security

Because progress is stored on-device, security also depends on your device passcode, biometrics, and Apple ID settings. Keep iOS updated.

8. Your choices

• Disable study reminders in Settings.
• Reset progress in Settings (does not cancel subscriptions).
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Delete the App to remove on-device study data (subject to device backups).

9. International users

The App may be offered in multiple App Store territories. Processing of payments is handled by Apple in accordance with your storefront.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
