This Privacy Policy describes how MD Shahariar Nazim Joy (“we”, “us”) handles information in the iOS app MRCP Part 2 Prep (the “App”).

Summary

The App is designed to be privacy-first and offline-first. We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking. Study progress is stored on your device.

Information we process

• On-device study data — answers, scores, bookmarks, streaks, exam date, daily goals, and preferences saved locally using Apple’s on-device storage (e.g. UserDefaults).
• Purchases — subscriptions and lifetime unlocks are processed by Apple through StoreKit / App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details.
• Optional notifications — if you enable a study reminder, iOS handles local notifications. We do not send marketing push via third-party servers.
• Support email — if you email us, we receive the content you send to respond to your request.

What we do not collect

• No advertising identifiers for tracking.
• No third-party analytics profiles.
• No sale of personal data.
• No account registration is required to use the App.

Health / medical content

The App provides educational exam-prep material only. It is not medical advice, does not provide clinical decision support for real patients, and is not a medical device. Content is original study material and is not affiliated with MRCP(UK).

Data retention & deletion

On-device data remains until you delete the App or use in-app reset (where available). To remove App Store purchase records, manage them via your Apple Account. Contact us if you need help.

Children

The App is intended for adult medical trainees and physicians. It is not directed at children under 13.

International users

The App may be available worldwide via the App Store. Processing of purchases is subject to Apple’s terms in your region.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
