Motorcycle Theory Test Prep UK ("the app", "we") is an independent study aid. We built the app to collect as little as possible. This policy explains exactly what is and is not collected.
The app requires no account, no login, and no email. All of your study data — your answers, progress, streak, bookmarks, flashcard schedule, and mock history — is stored only on your device. We never upload it and we never see it.
Study data (on-device only). Your progress and history are saved locally on your device so the app works fully offline. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this data. You can also erase it any time from Settings → Reset Progress.
Purchases. When you subscribe or buy lifetime access, the transaction is handled by Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes your payment; we receive only an anonymous signal that a valid purchase exists so we can unlock the app. We do not receive your name, card number, or Apple Account details.
If you turn on the optional daily study reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. This is handled entirely by iOS and is never sent through our servers — we have no servers that receive your data.
The app is a general-audience study aid and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
Because your data stays on your device, its security is governed by your device's own protections. We retain nothing because we receive nothing. Removing the app removes all associated data.
