What stays on your device
Onboarding answers (goal, label, teaching path, optional region affinity, reading preference, daily minutes), heard phrases, favorites, and optional practice recordings stay in on-device storage. They are not uploaded to a developer server.
Microphone
The app requests microphone access only if you tap Record on a phrase card, so you can replay your own take. Example: record a greeting to an elder, then play it back. You can skip recording and still use every unlocked lesson. Recordings are not uploaded.
Purchases
Subscriptions and lifetime unlock are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles payment identity. The developer does not receive your full payment card details.
No accounts, ads, or third-party analytics
There is no sign-in. There are no ads. There is no third-party analytics SDK. Data is not sold and is not shared with data brokers.
Children
This app is not in the Kids Category. It is a language companion for families, including adult learners.
