This Privacy Policy describes how the GCSE Geography Revision iOS app (“the App”) handles information.

Summary

The App is designed to work offline-first. We do not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs. Study progress is stored on your device.

Information we process

• On-device study data: answers, mastery, bookmarks, streaks, exam date, daily goal, reminder preference, and related settings stored in on-device storage (e.g. UserDefaults).
• Purchases: In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive entitlement status through StoreKit; we do not receive your full payment card details.
• Notifications: If you enable the optional daily study reminder, iOS may show local notifications you scheduled. We do not use notifications for marketing.
• Support email: If you contact us at dmjks120@gmail.com, we process the content of your message to respond.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not use your study content for advertising profiles.
• We do not require an account to use the App.

Data retention

On-device data remains until you delete the App or reset progress in Settings. Support emails are retained as needed to provide assistance.

Children

The App may be used by students under parental or school guidance. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for tracking or advertising.

Your choices

• Disable the study reminder in Settings or iOS Settings → Notifications.
• Reset progress in Settings.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
