This Privacy Policy explains how Food Hygiene Level 2 Prep (“the App”) handles information. We designed the App to be offline-first and privacy-preserving.
On-device study data: quiz answers, bookmarks, streaks, mock results, onboarding preferences, and similar progress markers stored locally on your device (for example in app storage / UserDefaults).
Purchase data: Apple processes subscription and lifetime purchases. We receive entitlement status through StoreKit (for example, whether Food Hygiene Pro is active). We do not receive your full payment card details.
Support email: If you email us, we receive the address and content you send so we can respond.
We process on-device data to provide exam-prep features you request (practice, mocks, flashcards, progress). Purchase validation is required to unlock paid features.
The App is intended for adults preparing for workplace food hygiene certification. It is not directed at children under 13.
Local study data remains on your device until you delete the App or clear app data. To remove purchase entitlements, manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Email us to request deletion of any support correspondence we hold.
Apple Inc. provides App Store distribution, In-App Purchases, and related services under Apple’s privacy policy. Hosting of this policy page may use GitHub Pages.
The App may be available worldwide via the App Store. Content themes reference UK/public food hygiene concepts for Level 2 catering study and are educational only.
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
