This Privacy Policy describes how MD Shahariar Nazim Joy (“we”, “us”) handles information in the iOS app CILEx Law Prep (the “App”).
The App is designed to work offline-first. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking SDKs. We do not sell personal data.
Study progress (answers, streaks, bookmarks, mock results, preferences, exam date, daily goal) is stored locally on your device using on-device storage (e.g. UserDefaults / app sandbox). This data does not leave your device through our servers because we do not operate a backend that collects study content.
Subscriptions and lifetime unlocks are processed by Apple via StoreKit / App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may provide us with limited purchase/entitlement information necessary to unlock features. Apple’s privacy policy applies to payment processing.
If you enable optional daily study reminders, the App uses local notifications scheduled on your device. We do not send push notifications from our own servers.
If you email us for support at dmjks120@gmail.com, we will receive the email address and content you send so we can respond. We use that information only to provide support.
The App does not require creating a user account with us. Access is gated by in-app purchase / subscription status managed through your Apple Account.
The App is intended for adult learners preparing for legal executive exams. It is not directed at children under 13.
You can reset local progress in Settings, disable reminders, and manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings. Uninstalling the App removes local app data from the device (subject to device backups you control).
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
