This Privacy Policy describes how MD Shahariar Nazim Joy (“we”, “us”) handles information for the iOS app A-Level Sociology Revision (the “App”).

Summary

The App is designed to work offline-first. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or sell personal data. Study progress is stored on your device.

Information we process

• On-device study data: practice answers, mastery, bookmarks, streaks, exam date preference, reminder settings, and similar progress you create in the App. This stays on your device unless you choose to back up your device with Apple services.
• Purchases: Subscriptions and lifetime unlocks are processed by Apple through StoreKit / App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may provide us with anonymised or pseudonymous purchase status needed to unlock features.
• Support email: If you email us, we receive the content of your message and your email address so we can reply.

What we do not do

• We do not run third-party advertising networks in the App.
• We do not include third-party analytics SDKs that track you across apps.
• We do not require account registration to use the App.

Permissions

If you enable daily study reminders, the App uses local notifications scheduled on your device. You can disable reminders in Settings or iOS system settings.

Children

The App is a study aid suitable for students preparing for A-Level Sociology. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing. Parents/guardians who have questions can contact us.

Data retention

On-device data remains until you delete the App or reset progress in Settings. Support emails are retained only as long as needed to handle your request.

Your choices

• Reset progress in the App Settings.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Delete the App to remove local study data from the device.

Third parties

Apple provides App Store distribution, payments, and (if you use them) device backup/iCloud features under Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
